Derrell Cocroft

As a wedding videographer, I take creativity very serious. There are a lot of good habits I've developed over the years, like shots that I like to get with every wedding because they just "work," techniques that I try to implement because they are efficient and effective. But as creatives, we know this can very easily be a bad thing. One of the worst things we can do as creatives is to become too stuck in our ways. That's one of the reasons why I love being a part of the Filmmaker Network! Being in the midst of like-minded creatives who all simultaneously strive to be the best they can be, while keeping each other motivated and growing as individuals. I highly recommend every creative to be a part of a network. And if you are a wedding filmmaker, then the Filmmaker Network is for you!

Erik Hollen

Two words describe the filmmaker network - professionalism and creativity. Every member is highly experienced in filming in the wedding industry and I feel like every time I shoot a wedding, I grow as a filmmaker. Not only that, you are working with people who genuinely love what they do and have integrity at the highest level.

The Filmmaker Network is so organized and professional in all they do. They have been incredibly supportive in my time working with them; they've gone above and beyond to set me up for success and just focus on doing my job the best way I can. The excellent work-life balance is the icing on the cake!

At The Filmmaker Network, we know you want to be at the top of the industry. To do that, you need to be able to continually grow as a filmmaker. Unfortunately, when you run your own business, it’s overwhelming trying to land more work while spending time honing your craft. As fellow filmmakers, we get it. We believe there should be easy access to ways to advance your skills and serve more clients. So, we started The Filmmaker Network, a community where storytellers collaborate, train with seasoned pros, and have a source for getting steady work more easily.
